Bernard Morris' Planes -- Flying Quaker

Flying Quaker This is a builder's model from Flair.   It is a Ben Buckle kit and was scaled up to 88" from the Quaker Flash of 1936.   It retains the reed wing tips and tail tips of the real old-timer.
Flying Quaker Flying This model is powered by a very old OS 61 Four Stroke which is on at least its second set of bearings.   The prop is a Master 13x6 and the model weighs about 5 lbs.   It is, of course, three channels:- engine, elevator and rudder.
Flying Quaker Landing Take-offs are almost instantaneous and the aircraft flies for ages on one third throttle.   This is a very relaxing way to fly on any half decent day.
