Colin says "My Piper Tri Pacer G-ARSX is 1/4 scale and was built sometime about 1986. It is powered by a Tartan 22cc petrol engine and controlled by Futaba radio.
The full size aircraft was spotted at Old Sarun airfield at the time of building.
As with many full size examples recently the model has been converted to an earlier version without the third wheel.
The kit was discontinued some years ago with the demise of the manufacturer
but recently I found one for sale and now am the proud possessor of two
Pacers."
