Several members of the HMAC committee attended a meeting of the Much Marcle Village Hall Committee on 15th January 2004 to present donations to the Memorial Hall fund and to the Much Marcle Parish Church fund.

The picture shows the show organiser, Colin Clark, presenting our cheque to Bob Dallow, chairman of the Village Hall Committee.

The Much Marcle Large Model Show held early September 2003 enjoyed a bumper turnout and excellent weather.   The show made a healthy profit and therefore the club decided to make donations totalling £3,300 this year.   The largest single amount, £2,000, went to the Much Marcle Memorial Hall fund.   Other beneficiaries included the Much Marcle Parish Church, The County Air Ambulance, St Michaels Hospice and St John's Ambulance.   The show's co-organisers, the Large Model Association, also received a donation.

The picture below, taken by local photographer David Mocatta, shows a large scale model spitfire flying over the Much Marcle landscape.   Click here to go to our report of the 2003 Much Marcle Large Model Show.
